Archie Rose Whisky Gone a Rye ($169)
The apera casks used for this whisky were originally intended for single malt, but they were accidentally filled with rye and this release was born.
Craft Works I AM… Too… ($180)
The second release from Craft Works Distillery’s I AM series, a marriage of a number of different ex-wine casks.
Ned Whisky Sounds of Bathurst ($100)
A bizarre marketing ploy, where the sounds of a V8 supercar racing around Mount Panorama were used to vibrate Ned Whisky casks and supposedly speed up maturation. Think it sold out quickly, so there you go.
Hobart Whisky Barrel Aged Cherry Liqueur Cask Finish ($195)
This is a vatting of Hobart Whisky casks, predominantly ex-Bourbon and a smaller portion of ex-PX cask whisky, that was then finished in Hobart’s very own cherry liqueur casks.
